Call_Solutions.com, a teleservices firm that has been on a buying binge since its founding last year, has bought customer relationship management outsourcing firm OnPoint Inc., Call_Solutions said yesterday.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. However, the purchase of OnPoint, which operates call centers in San Antonio and Fort Worth, TX, doubles Call_Solutions' revenues to approximately $80 million and more than doubles its work force to 3,000 employees.
OnPoint was formed in 1984 and has handled passenger reservations, sales and customer support for a leading airline. The company also provides consumer credit card processing and member acquisition for financial clients, along with toll-free and 900-number services and inbound and outbound call handling for consumer products.
In addition, OnPoint has clients in the package delivery, mortgage lending and health plan industries.
OnPoint is the sixth company that Waukesha, WI-based Call_Solutions has acquired since it began operations last August.
The other companies it has bought are GLS Direct Inc. of Philadelphia; Advantage Line Telemarketing Inc. of Williston, ND; American Telecom Inc. of Horsham, PA; Great Plains Development Inc. of Bismarck, ND; and All City Call Center of Waukesha.
The privately held company now has 1,700 workstations in 18 locations in the United States.
