T3 names Suhr chief creative; Sheehan ECD

T3 has promoted senior creatives Jay Suhr and Glen Sheehan. Suhr, formerly SVP, director of creative services and account planning, has been named SVP, chief creative officer, a new position. Sheehan has been named SVP, executive creative director. He was previously VP, group creative director.

The changes were made within the agency in response to growth. “The organization is growing fairly nicely and we’re making sure our teams are aligned for both our client and internal needs,” Suhr said. “We needed to ensure our structure aligns with executive creative directors and the creative directors below them to make sure we had both the right people on particular accounts and the right level of seniority.”

The two promotions are also a means of keeping the agency from becoming too lateral, Suhr added.

Suhr will continue to oversee all creative for the agency and continue to report to T3 CEO Gay Gaddis.

Sheehan joined T3 after serving as global digital creative director at Young & Rubicam Brands/Wunderman in Irvine, CA. He will continue to oversee work on JPMorgan Chase, Windows Phone and JCPenney accounts.

Suhr has been with the company since 1999, before which he spent 13 years at Ogilvy & Mather in Houston.
