Sixty-two percent of customer relationship management users in Britain consider the financial services sector as having the best practices when it comes to client management, according to new research.
This was a key finding from a survey of CRM users commissioned by Atlanta-based CDC Software, an enterprise software applications provider. The survey found the financial services sector is a clear leader in the implementation and use of CRM within their business.
The legal sector followed with 32 percent of customers considering this sector as having the best practices, according to the survey. The hi-tech sector was next, nabbing six percent of the results.
Mark Carlile, managing director of CDC Software, Europe, Middle East and Africa, said he did not find the results surprising since the company’s financial services customers are usually the first to implement new CRM technologies and systems.
