Sundance Catalog to launch upgraded Web site in the fall

Sundance Catalog will launch a new Web site in the fall, leveraging MarketLive‘s Intelligent Commerce Platform v5 for enhanced features and functionality. Integration with back end systems and administrative processes will also be improved.

Sundance will also be able to take advantage of MarketLive’s partnership with Akamai to enhance overall Web application response time and performance.

With the new site, Sundance, which has been a MarketLive customer since 2003, is hoping to create an even more dynamic customer experience, streamline site administration so staff will have more time for new projects and provide an intuitive path to purchase with the goal of increasing customer conversion rates. Internet sales currently account for over 60% of Sundance Catalog’s direct business.

Sundance will use Marketlive’s Intelligent Selling methodology for product page merchandising, segmentation and personalization in e-mail marketing. On the administrative side, the new site will enable Sundance to implement new merchandising campaigns without the help of IT, and launch micro-sites from a single administration view.

Following the initial site launch, Sundance Catalog will leverage MarketLive’s Internet strategy group to enhance SEO applications, improve PCI compliance, expand the template library, enhance site navigation, develop multilingual administration, and explore microsites for sub-businesses.
