SubscriberMail Switches to Ecelerity

E-mail marketing firm SubscriberMail, Lisle, IL, said yesterday that it switched from IronPort to OmniTI Computer Consulting, Columbia, MD, to manage outbound permission e-mail messages for its clients.

SubscriberMail CEO Jordan Ayan said the company switched to OmniTI’s Ecelerity e-mail solution because it wanted to increase delivery rates and find a solution that supported DomainKeys and other e-mail authentication systems.

“IronPort was completely focused on their inbound solution … [and] were unwilling to even adopt all authentication standards,” Mr. Ayan added.

SubscriberMail sends 1 million unique messages a day for its client base. While Mr. Ayan did not want to release specific figures, he said SubscriberMail has 500 to 1,000 customers.

OmniTI Computer Consulting differentiates itself from other e-mail solution providers because it can handle large volumes of e-mails through servers.

“We can handle 100,000 concurrent connections per server and we maintain good relationships with the ISPs,” said Barry Abels, vice president, sales, OmniTI.

In addition, Ecelerity includes e-mail authentication and reputation systems, including Goodmail Systems, Habeas and DomainKeys.
