Student Advantage LLC, a marketing services company offering membership, discount and online programs aimed at the college market, announced its acquisition of Collegiate Advantage Inc., a provider of student targeted events and promotions.
Student Advantage, whose clients include AT&T, Amtrak, Greyhound, IBM, ESPN and The Princeton Review, will add such Collegiate Advantage clients as Coca-Cola, Airwalk, Gillette, Rolling Stone and Sam Goody to its roster.
Because of Student Advantage’s long-term marketing agreement with AT&T, Collegiate Advantage will not seek to renew its existing contract with Sprint when it expires later this year. Under the terms of the cash deal, Collegiate Advantage will operate as its own brand under the Student Advantage umbrella. Both companies are based in Boston.
