New York-based Stevens-Knox & Associates today said yesterday it plans to launch an Internet division, Stevens-Knox eMarketing, to focus on the management and marketing of opt in e-mail lists.
Stevens-Knox said the new division will target companies looking to enter the e-marketing arena and concentrate on the following areas: helping marketers find e-mail lists that present the strongest market for their offers; generating list rental revenues for opt in e-mail list owners and; consulting clients on current e-marketing applications and trends.
The company did not say how large the new division would be, who would run it or if it had signed any clients.
In January 1999, Stevens-Knox was purchased by Marketing Services Group Inc., New York, which does have Internet firms among its holdings. Prior to that, Stevens-Knox operated as an independent firm for more than 25 years.
