RightNow Technologies Inc. said that the State of Kentucky would implement its on demand technology in support of a major state initiative to promote and facilitate postsecondary education for the Kentucky’s citizens.
The initiative will use Bozeman, MT-based RightNow Technolgies’ RightNow Service, RightNow Marketing and RightNow Metrics to help Kentuckians enroll in and more easily navigate several pilot projects targeted at middle, high school and adult students.
By doing so, the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education plans to significantly increase the overall education level of the state’s population.
The council will manage the program, which is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education.
RightNow’s CRM technology will support these objectives by streamlining and automating communication between the state’s various postsecondary educational institutions — eight universities, the Kentucky Community and Technical College system, and the Kentucky Virtual University – thereby removing many of the obstacles that have historically inhibited citizens from initiating and completing postsecondary education programs.
