Office supply company Staples Inc. has selected SAS Marketing Automation for database marketing, campaign management and advanced customer data analytics.
SAS Marketing Automation will support the Staples corporate database marketing team. SAS, Cary, NC, said SAS’ ability to support a global enterprise is one of the deciding factors that led the company to select them.
Staples executives liked SAS’ global marketing automation footprint and its ability to support new installations outside the United States.
Based in Framingham, MA, Staples reported 2005 sales of $16.1 billion, serving consumers and businesses in 21 countries.
Staples operates 1,786 office superstores and also serves its customers through mail order catalog, e-commerce and contract businesses.
