Internet retailer Spree.com, Thornton, PA, recently entered the $2 billion golf apparel market when it joined the PGA Tour to launch an online golf store at www.spree.com/pgatour. Spree.com becomes one of only two online sites authorized to sell PGA Tour merchandise.
The store gives golfers and golf fans 24-hour access to exclusive licensed apparel and tournament products. Spree.com and the PGA Tour are using a contest to celebrate the opening of the PGA Tour Golf Store. The grand prize is a trip for two to Hawaii and the Kaanapali EMC Classic in October. Winners will get to play with the celebrity musicians attending the tournament.
