Spredfast Acquires Shoutlet

Social software provider Spredfast today announced it has acquired Shoutlet, a provider of social data integration.

The merger is an aim to create “a company with substantial resources to deliver powerful products in the fast-paced world of social,” according to a press release. As part of the integration, Shoutlet’s Madison, WI-based headquarters and staff—which supports customers such as Best Buy, Four Seasons, and Lowe’s—will act as Spredfast’s newest development center.

“Spredfast’s proven leadership in the social software space makes it clear that they are absolutely the right company to leverage our technology and people. The combined company will provide customers with richer product options, lightening-fast innovation, and access to the smartest minds in the industry,” said Aaron Everson, president, cofounder of Shoutlet. “We’re looking forward to bringing these two strong teams together.”
