SportsLine.com Inc., Fort Lauderdale, FL, an Internet sports publishing firm, this week said its Web site, www.cbs.sportsline.com, will be exclusively developed and operated by Web networking company theglobe.com Inc., New York, as part of a multiyear agreement.
Also part of this cross-distribution and promotional deal, theglobe.com will offer its audience CBS SportsLine’s content and fantasy games while SportsLine.com will promote theglobe.com’s online network throughout www.cbs.sportsline.com. Beginning with CBS SportsLine’s coverage of the Major League Baseball season, theglobe.com will co-brand its e-mail clubs, home page building tools and message boards for CBS SportsLine.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
