Spitzer, Others to Address Privacy, DNC Issues

New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and other government officials will discuss do not call lists, privacy concerns and new legislation at the April 11 meeting of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Among the speakers are: Gretchen Dykstra, commissioner of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs; Barbara Anthony, director of the northeast region of the Federal Trade Commission; Ronna Brown, president of the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York; and Jules Polonetsky, chief privacy officer at DoubleClick Inc.

The free event, “Consumer Protection Issues in 2002 and Beyond,” will be from 6 to 8 p.m., April 11 at the House of the Association, 42 W. 44th St. It is sponsored by the Committee on Consumer Affairs. For more information, call 212-382-6600.
