SparkLIST.com Sets Up Free ‘Freedom’ E-mail Server

SparkLIST.com has established the “Freedom E-mail List Server” for those affected by the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

The e-mail list publishing and hosting service provider said the Freedom server offers free discussion and announcement list hosting. Individuals and organizations can use the lists to exchange information about family members, friends and co-workers affected by the attacks.

“We just want to do whatever we can to help,” said SparkLIST.com CEO Christopher Knight. “Maybe it’s someone with a family member still missing and needs to be able to communicate with their extended family across the country. Or maybe a company with offices in the World Trade Center would like to send announcements to all of their employees and families here in the U.S. and abroad.”

Many of SparkLIST.com’s clients are in Manhattan, a number with offices across the street from the World Trade Center, Knight said.

Anyone wishing to set up a list on the Freedom server can send an e-mail to [email protected], or visit SparkLIST.com’s Web site at http://sparklist.com/freedom.
