SmartDM, a database marketing firm, said yesterday that it signed deals with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, which owns and operates the NBA's Indiana Pacers, and the Charlotte Bobcats, the league's newest franchise, to be their CRM/software and data management services provider.
SmartDM will build and maintain marketing data warehouses for the organizations. Both will use SmartDM's proprietary Web-based customer relationship management tool, DirectTR@K, to empower sales and marketing initiatives.
