Online personalization services firm Sitebrand has teamed up with e-mail service provider Silverpop in a move to upgrade their e-mail product offering for online marketers.
Sitebrand works with retailers including the Bank of Montreal, Roots and Legendary Deer Gear for Web personalization. Under the terms of the partnership, Sitebrand will integrate with Silverpop’s e-mail marketing platform into its Segment&Serve personalization tool making e-mail a service within its platform.
“Marketers started coming to us saying that they like us, but saying that they wanted to be able to work with one vendor,” said Darryl Praill, VP of sales and marketing at Sitebrand. “It is easier for our clients to offer e-mail directly to them.”
Before choosing Silverpop, Sitebrand shopped around looking for an ESP that had a good reputation with spam filters and knew about delivery, but also had the ability to personalize and use Web analytics in their systems.
“We refer a lot of our clients back to Silverpop for information about best practices in e-mail,” added Praill.
