Singer Hits High Note with BMG Music Inserts

Insert and Internet media firm Singer Direct LLC will begin managing the BMG Music Service’s insert programs on Oct. 1.

Singer Direct, Scarsdale, NY, currently manages the Columbia House DVD club insert programs for BMG Columbia House Inc. The DVD club label Columbia House was acquired by music distributor BMG Direct in 2005 to form the New York-based the direct-to-customer entertainment label.

BMG Music Service is the oldest and largest of BMG Columbia House’s music clubs. It features a variety music including pop, alternative rock, R&B, hip-hop and country. It offers more than 14,000 titles through four major music groups and more than 100 independent record labels.

Recently acquired by the OmnicomMedia Group in New York, Singer Direct has 25 years of experience in direct marketing. Some of its clients include Bloomingdales, Johnson and Johnson, American Express and Time Magazine.
