Simulmedia Announces Cooperstein as New CMO

TV ad targeting company Simulmedia has announced David Cooperstein as its new CMO.

Cooperstein, a former Forrester Research VP and practice leader, replaces Lindsay Jurist-Rosner, who left Simulmedia to start a Web business. Cooperstein will report directly to Simulmedia CEO Dave Morgan. 

“Audience-based television advertising is still new to many in the media and advertising communities. David has the depth of knowledge and ability to objectively engage with marketers to help them better understand what we do at Simulmedia,” Morgan said in a release.

Cooperstein led the CMO research practice at Forrester Research for five years, and led the research company’s retail and telecom practices before that. Cooperstein served in a wide range of marketing and strategy roles throughout his 25 year career, both in public and start-up businesses environments. He was CMO at Burst Media from 2007 to 2009, and VP, editor-in-chief at Gather Inc.Before entering the digital marketing world Cooperstein was the lead market analyst for Northwest Airlines and served as a consultant at Booz & Company.
