Book publisher Simon & Schuster partnered with PubEasy to give booksellers quicker access to titles and consumers better customer service and convenience.
The new partnership lets any Simon & Schuster account with a PubEasy password have access to PubEasy’s features. Simon & Schuster , New York, is a subsidiary of CBS.
PubEasy features include entering orders online for titles from Simon & Schuster and its distribution client roster; tracking orders no matter how they are placed; checking accurate price and availability from the publisher’s title file; and e-mail acknowledgements of PubEasy orders.
The PubEasy service is free to vendors and includes thousands of publisher imprints and millions of titles available to 16,000 booksellers in 110 countries. PubEasy will make Simon & Schuster titles available to the Canadian market later in the year.
