E-mail marketing firm Silverpop will let its customers use Coremetrics’ LIVEmail 2.0 interface within its platform through a new partnership with the targeting firm.
Silverpop will provide support for the interface, which will let e-mail marketers integrate Coremetrics’ targeting, segmenting, behavioral and Web analytics tools into their e-mail communications.
Silverpop and Coremetrics users can exchange visitor behavioral data into the e-mail program and then trigger automated e-mails when site visitors take specific actions such as abandoning shopping carts, conducting site searches or making product purchases.
In addition, when a recipient responds and takes any kind of action on the site after viewing an e-mail, this information is input into the Coremetrics platform.
Silverpop currently has several clients participating in the LIVEmail 2.0 launch program. In addition, LIVEmail 1.0 users can be upgraded to include the Coremetrics functionality.
