Signatures Network signs on with Blue Sky Factory e-mail

Music merchandising firm Signatures Network has selected Blue Sky Factory as the company’s e-mail marketing services partner.

Blue Sky Factory will work with Signatures Network to power e-mail campaigns and fan-based electronic communications for a collection of today’s most popular performers, including Justin Timberlake and Rock Star Supernova.

“From a consumer standpoint, deals like this make one-to-one and opt-in communications even stronger,” said Greg Cangialosi, president of Blue Sky Factory. ” In this particular case, millions of end users, who have elected to stay connected with the news and events that surround their favorite entertainers and artists, can now receive the content they seek in a more timely, relevant fashion.”

Signatures Network holds the rights to market and license more than 125 superstars, artists, celebrities and entertainment properties. The company’s services range from tour to retail, online sales to wholesale, and a full range of licensing functions.

In addition to e-mail strategy and deployment services, Blue Sky Factory will manage the integration of analytics tools to ensure Signature Networks and their entertainers are effectively communicating with their opt-in fans.

While a large base of opt-in fans represents a young audience, Signature Network’s artists and performers cater to fans of all ages.

“Regardless of age, e-mail newsletters and opt-in communications remain one of today’s more popular features in the entertainment arena,” Mr. Cangialosi said. “Who doesn’t want to know when their favorite artists, comedian, entertainer or A-lister is coming to their neck of the woods? When you check out the majority of websites and/or social content pages like MySpace, it’s one of the first things a visitor sees: ‘Sign up to keep up to date.'”
