Sight 4 Kids, a physician-managed firm for screening eyesight damage among children, hired Partners & Levit Inc., New York, to handle an advertising and promotions account worth $2 million in the first year.
The 22-year-old agency is responsible for branding, advertising, online marketing, collateral, events and media relations. It will develop and support New York-based Sight 4 Kids' channels and boost awareness of the service.
According to Sight 4 Kids, one in 20 children has a serious eye disorder. Sight 4 Kids' Photoscreener technology provides early intervention and treatment, decreasing the incidence of vision damage in later years.
Sight 4 Kids offers vision screens via preschools, kindergartens, hospitals, doctors' offices and large firms with child-care facilities and trade unions — entities predisposed to hosting screening events.
