SES elects new advisory board members

SAN JOSE, CA û Kevin Ryan, vice president of global content for Search Engine Strategiesáand SearchEngineWatch.com, has been elected to head Incisive Media’s Search Engine Strategies new 15-member advisory board.

Ryan’s role will entail assisting in the production of more diverse, integrated content, using a multichannel approach.

Ryan joined Incisive Media in early June after the talented search engine search strategist Danny Sullivan announced his resignation from the post.

The other board members are:

Anne Kennedy, managing partner of Beyond Ink; Jeff Levick, director, global industry development and marketing Google; Gregg Stewart, senior vice president of TMP Directional Marketing; Jeff Ferguson, director of online marketing, Napster; Randy Peterson, search marketing innovation manager for Procter and Gamble; teven Kaufman, senior vice president, media director, Digitas; Sandeep Aggarwal, senior equity research analyst for Oppenheimer & Co.; Ron Belanger, vice president of agency development, Yahoo Search Marketing; Chris Henger, vice president of affiliate marketing for Performics; James Lamberti, vice president of search and media for comScore; Carol Kruse, vice president of global interactive marketing at the Coca-Cola Company; Jeannie Moran, e-commerce marketing director at Auto Nation Inc.; Erynn Peterson, senior manager, advertising platform evangelism, Microsoft; Jocelyn Griffing, senior vice president of online media for Icon International; and, Pauline Ores, senior marketing manager for community and collaboration strategy at IBM Corp.

“I searched far and wide for a group of leaders,” Ryan said.

Ryan said he wanted the board members to consist of individuals who will aid bringing a refreshed approach to future SES events.

Separately, SES has signed an agreement with The Kelsey Group, a provider of research, data and strategic analysis on directories. Under the agreement SES will create and lead SEM and SEO sessions at the Kelsey Group’s Interactive Local Media conference.
