The Federation of European Direct and Interactive Marketing announced last week that Selligent, a European customer relationship management provider, has joined its board.
Selligent is FEDMA's fifth corporate board member alongside companies Time Warner, Bertelsmann, Reader's Digest and Royal Mail.
FEDMA said Selligent will help ensure that CRM-specific issues are taken into account in FEDMA's core work on the legal, promotional or educational front.
“CRM is expected to take off in a big way in midsized European companies in the coming months,” FEDMA president Ara Cinar said. “As part of FEDMA's core work in this area, we're developing a wide agenda of CRM-related initiatives covering public affairs issues, best practices, education, market research and publications to ensure that a solid framework exists for the development of the CRM business of both our direct members and the members of national associations across Europe.”
