Search Marketing Group Adds 3 Advisers

The Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization announced three new members for its advisory board yesterday.

SEMPO's advisory board added Google search engine marketing channel manager Chris LaSala, Yellow Pages Integrated Media Association president Neg Norton and Piper Jaffray equities analyst Safa Rashtchy.

The three replace Search Engine Watch editors Danny Sullivan and Chris Sherman, both of whom left the board earlier this month.

LaSala, Norton and Rashtchy join Overture Services director of strategic alliances Dan Boberg on the advisory panel. SEMPO was founded in August 2003 to promote search engine marketing.
