Yesterday, Arik Hesseldahl at AllThingsD reported that cloud software company Salesforce had appointed a new chief marketing officer.
Lynn Vojvodich, a former marketing executive at venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz is the company’s new CMO, and she confirmed her appointment on her LinkedIn profile. She will be reporting to chief operating officer George Hu.
Vojvodich has also held the CMO position at big data software company Terracotta, and had previous stints at Microsoft and BEA Systems.
