Commercial printer R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Chicago, recently created an Affiliate Network for its Select Source online commerce service that will allow Web-site owners to locate and link with catalogers from around the world.
Web-site owners can begin selling products from Select Source catalog members by going to www.goselectsource.com, where they will be able to choose the cataloger and the cataloger's exact merchandise they wish to sell. Revenue-sharing arrangements also can be finalized online.
In other news, R.R. Donnelley said it will offer catalogers using its Select Source online commerce solution free Internet-generated leads. Select Source provides catalogers with three services: conversion, giving catalogers the ability to post products on the Net in an electronic Web-ready format; licensing, allowing customers to browse, search and purchase products without leaving a cataloger's Web site; and the syndication program, letting catalogers integrate their products into a number of affiliate Web sites relevant to those products.
