Sequence will become part of RRD’s CustomPoint Solutions Group, which includes the company’s multichannel marketing, custom publishing and direct marketing services.
John Paloian, COO of RRD, said in a statement that “the ability to deliver targeted content is attractive to readers, advertisers, publishers and other RR Donnelley customers across virtually every segment that we serve.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
RRD also acquired Journalism Online, a Web-based publishing service, in March and real estate marketing services company 8touches two months earlier. The Chicago-based company reported net sales of $2.6 billion in the second quarter of 2011.
