Rocker Ted Nugent Sued Over eBay Auction

A Lincoln, NE, couple are suing rock star Ted Nugent, known for his wild performances and his pro-hunting politics, after accusing him of backing out of an eBay auction agreement.

Ron and Krishelle Bennett claim they had a winning bid at eBay.com of $1,535 to have dinner with Nugent and get front-row concert seats to his Aug. 25 concert in Bonner Springs, KS. According to the couple, they were also supposed to receive unrestricted backstage passes to the 52-year-old rock star's concert.

In the lawsuit, the couple claim that they received only limited-access backstage passes and that Nugent did not join them for dinner.

“This guy was my hero,” Ron Bennett, 35, told The Associated Press. “I was thrilled to see him, and he basically destroyed my entire belief in rock 'n' roll.”
