RMI Direct Partners to Target Impulse Buyers

RMI Direct Marketing Inc. yesterday said it teamed up with direct marketer Joseph Russo to form ImPulse Media.

“It's geared toward the markets where the prospects are traditionally more of an impulse buyer,” said Martin Stein, president of Danbury, CT-based RMI Direct Marketing Inc. “What RMI offers these marketers is the ability to reach into the markets that we deal with, including the nonprofit area, the more … traditional markets.”

Russo has specialized in impulse markets for more than 15 years, Stein said. Russo previously held positions at Listworks and Country Marketing.

Though the division is in the planning stages, Stein said it would offer the same services that RMI offers its clients, including list management, list brokerage, list processing and lettershop services.
