Rich Media Firm Promises Better E-Mail Response

Rich media e-mail firm Dynamics Direct claims it can increase the response rates of its clients' talking e-mail campaigns through proprietary technology that ensures 100 percent delivery rates to any HTML-enabled e-mail system.

The company is expected to launch the technology, called Surefire Delivery, today. It is designed to beat the technical challenges associated with delivering rich e-mails.

Surefire Delivery is designed to fix connection speed problems, e-mail client and configuration settings and other problems that have hampered rich e-mail campaign delivery rates, said Russell T. Gillam, CEO of Dynamics Direct, Los Angeles.

So Dynamics Direct designed 20 templates to accommodate a variety of e-mail clients, including AOL, Hotmail and Outlook Express.

Gillam claims Surefire Delivery recognizes the e-mail system of a recipient and optimizes messages for that system.

Gillam said the result has been a 100 percent delivery rate in the three campaigns Dynamics has launched since implementing the technology. Messages sent to HTML systems play as soon as they are opened. E-mails to non-HTML or Flash-enabled systems require one click before they begin playing, Gillam said.

Dynamics Direct launched in August and has run about 12 talking e-mail campaigns. The company's messages can call out a recipient's first name. The company's patent-pending Dynamic Individualization technology can incorporate database elements such as recipient hometowns and purchase histories and can integrate these elements into multimedia messages with animation, graphics and voice narration.
