The Electronics Boutique, a retailer of electronic games and accessories, will advertise free ChildWatch security software in its direct mail catalog.
Software development company PACEL Corp., Manassas, VA, agreed to ship more than 25,000 ChildWatch CDs to The Electronics Boutique, to be in their stores by Oct. 1. PACEL developed the ChildWatch security software and screen saver in conjunction with Child Watch of North America and Child Quest International Inc. The CDs are designed to help locate and identify missing or abducted children. The screen saver will feature such children.
The CDs also give parents the ability to eliminate their children's access to adult-content Web sites.
