Responsys.com, Palo Alto, CA, and Personify, San Francisco, have formed a strategic relationship to help e-businesses accelerate growth and profitability. The companies will do this by providing dot-com and global 2000 companies with Responsys Interact, which will allow them to execute comprehensive e-marketing campaigns based on insights derived by Essentials, Personify's visitor-profiling and behavior-analysis platform.
By using Essentials, e-businesses may analyze their customer databases and create filters that use statistical analysis from data streams, like customer demographics, purchase behavior or click-stream analysis, to help determine customer preferences. After applying the filter to an opt-in e-mail list, a marketer can then use Responsys Interact to send highly targeted campaigns to specific customer lists. The marketer can then use response data from both the Responsys Interact campaign and Personify's Web analysis to refine the filters for the next level of campaigns.
