E-mail marketing services firm Responsys has opened a new office in Sydney, Australia, in a move to expand its services down under.
The new office comes in response to Responsys’ growing client base in Australia and New Zealand. Clients include The Westfield Group, Jeans West, Flybuys New Zealand, Wego, Smart Salary, GE Money, Tabcorp, Symantec and Johnson & Johnson.
Frank Lodewick, a new hire with more than 14 years of experience in multichannel marketing products, was brought on to run Responsys Australia.
Responsys follows other e-mail services providers into the Australia region. Last month, e-mail service provider Silverpop also moved into the Australian region. Silverpop’s entrée into the market came through a partnership with digital and CRM agency Engage Digital, who is the authorized reseller of the Silverpop e-mail products. StrongMail and Experian’s CheetahMail also have a presence in the region.
