Reader's Digest Association Inc., Pleasantville, NY, will use direct mail to market nutritional supplements produced by Twinlab Corp.
The campaign will launch in the spring of 2001. Reader's Digest will use its subscriber database in the effort.
Reader's Digest will use advertising in its magazine as well as promotions utilizing its health Web site, RDHealth.com, to support the marketing effort. The two companies hope to develop a continual relationship with consumers and send them regular shipments of Twinlab products.
Twinlab Corp., Hauppauge, NY, manufactures approximately 1,000 nutritional supplements, including vitamins, minerals and herbal products. The supplements will be produced and fulfilled at Twinlab's facilities in New York and Utah.
