Home-shopping network QVC signed a two-year deal yesterday to market Nutri/System weight-loss products on its direct response television programs in the United States.
The deal is renewable after the initial two years only if QVC generates $31 million in sales on Nutri/System products. Further details of the agreement between QVC and Nutri/System, Horsham, PA, were not disclosed.
Nutri/System markets prepackaged, calorie-controlled meal plans through a variety of channels. QVC, West Chester, PA, is a $3.7 billion company with a network that reaches 80 million homes in the United States.
