Quokka Sports Inc. this week debuted www.finalfour.net, the official Web site for the Division I National Collegiate Athletic Association basketball championship tournament.
The content-rich site is loaded with articles and images and will use TotalCast coverage to give fans real-time access to play-by-play during the NCAA basketball tournament.
Internet-only video footage and Webcasting of all games will give users the ability to find content and games not on television.
Different sponsors will be featured on rich media gadgets on the site. Chip giant Intel will sponsor Video Jukebox, which features footage of NCAA tournaments from the past 20 years.
Quokka will give its advertising clients the opportunity to integrate their brand and message into various features on the site, spokeswoman Emily Greene said.
Greene would not comment on whether Quokka expects to turn a profit from the Web site.
