Questex Media Group Inc. has acquired three professional beauty trade shows from Show Management Inc.
The shows are the Las Vegas and Orlando editions of the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference and the Las Vegas Hair & Nail Conference.
The IECSC events average more than 1,500 exhibitors and over 65,000 attendees. They are held annually.
The events will be integrated into the Questex Beauty Group, which includes American Spa magazine, Medical Spa Report, American Spa Expo, American Salon magazine and the International Beauty Show.
Former Advanstar Communications executives formed Questex last year by purchasing many of Advanstar’s technology, travel, portfolio, beauty and home entertainment groups. It is headquartered in Newton, MA.
