Qualitative Marketing Software — QMSoft — Clearwater, FL, a data enhancement and solutions provider, has unveiled Centrus GeoStan Canada, a new version of its GeoStan address-level geocoding and address-standardization software. The software allows users to process Canadian address data. QMSoft said that with a single pass the system parses and identifies Canadian address elements, fixes poorly formatted or misspelled address elements according to Canada Post address-quality requirements and recognizes English and French address elements.
The system automatically will create the Address Accuracy Statement required to qualify for Canada Address Admail postage discounts, while assigning postal code-level latitude/longitude coordinates. GeoStan Canada is certified to be fully compliant with the software evaluation and recognition program. Other features include a user-friendly API, which allows developers to control the behavior of the match and the data elements returned, and the ability to operate as a batch solution or in a real-time environment for correction and geocoding at the time of data entry.
