QAS, Boston, an address-management software vendor, announced yesterday the signing of eight catalog and mail-order companies as new customers.
It signed Hammacher Schlemmer; C. Crane Company Inc.; Journey Education Marketing; KellyCo Detectors; Sundance Catalog; The Territory Ahead; Traditions USA; and Wm. K. Walthers. They chose QAS' QuickAddress solutions to cleanse, verify and manage their customer address data.
QuickAddress Pro lets companies validate addresses at the point of data entry, ensuring that all information entering the database is accurate. This lowers the cost of delivery and the cost companies incur to reprint, repackage or resend goods that don't reach the intended recipient because of faulty address data.
