QAS, an Experian company, and supplier of address verification solutions, is partnering with helpIT systems, an expert in the field of data cleansing to improve the data quality of businesses.

The partnership provides organizations with data hygiene tools that verify and standardize addresses and identify and process duplicate records. As a result, organizations can increase their productivity by spending less time identifying and processing customer information and more time on data strategies like segmentation and targeting.
Under the agreement, Cambridge, MA-based QAS, which also has offices in Europe and around the world, will resell Surrey, Britain-based helpITsystems‘ deduplication tool, matchIT, which that identifies and processes duplicate data from multiple sources by using sophisticated matching algorithms. Users can quickly identify duplicate records based on a combination of fields such as contact names, address information or account numbers. The software also allows database specialists to recognize and maintain the most current records and remove out-of-date information.
When matchIT is combined with the names and addresses verified and standardized with QuickAddress products, a higher number of duplicate records can be found.
Once a data quality solution is deployed, organizations also increase efficiency in their call centers, improve direct marketing response rates and realize a higher confidence in business and financial reporting, QAS said. Clean data allows businesses to create a true 360-degree view of their customers and sets the foundation for accurate customer segmentation and better performance of marketing campaigns and communications.
