PresentationPro Turns PowerPoint Presentations into Rich Media E-mail

PresentationPro, a presentation and training applications firm, yesterday debuted EmailPRESENTER, software that converts Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into Macromedia Flash-enabled e-mail.

The software lets users create rich media e-mails from the desktop, without HTML programming knowledge. PresentationPro, Atlanta, said EmailPRESENTER creates a universal platform for viewing PowerPoint presentations and can easily send large files across the Internet.

The software converts PowerPoint presentations into Web-enabled Flash files and automatically uploads and stores it to the user's online account at PresentationPro's Web site. It then creates an e-mail that references the Web-enabled file and distributes it to selected contacts in a streaming format.

“Think about the reaction you have every time you receive an HTML e-mail with graphics, photos and sound,” said Gary White, PresentationPro's president. “The message grabs your attention, motivates you to read it and drives you to action.”

EmailPRESENTER costs $49 a month for the software, a 30-day license with a secure online account, storage and hosting of up to 10 PowerPoint presentations and up to 500 unique views a month of converted presentations stored in the online account. PresentationPro is offering an annual license for $490 per year, which offers storage of an unlimited number of converted presentations and 1,000 unique views a month. PresentationPro also is offering a free trial to anyone who registers at www.presentationpro.com or www.emailpresenter.com.
