Premier Cruises With Fahlgren

Fahlgren Advertising, Tampa FL, a marketing communications firm with offices in the Southeast and Midwest, was awarded this week a $12 million advertising account for Premier Cruises headquartered in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Fahlgren will begin helping Premier with the establishment of a new marketing communications direction, including a long-term branding strategy to better convey the company's upgraded food and beverage services. A re-engineering effort of the company's logo also is in the works with plans to incorporate design elements conveying the symbolism of movement, history and style into its corporate image. In addition, Fahlgren will create promotions for destinations previously unavailable.

Bruce Neirenberg, president/CEO of Premier Cruises, said a key factor in the decision to place the company's agency work with Fahlgren had to do with the creative work the agency had produced for the Florida Board of Tourism.

“I think perhaps we can create a fresher look, maybe we can be a little more provocative in our media,” Neirenberg said. “We're planning on taking what has worked for us in the past and building on it even more after taking time to re-evaluate our products.”

At Fahlgren Advertising, Ginger Watters, executive vice president said she felt confident that Fahlgren's strategic marketing approach would be an asset to Premier.

Fahlgren is a $170 million marketing communications firm. Its clients include Val-Pak Direct Marketing Systems (Cox Enterprise), McDonald's Restaurants, MGM and 20th Century Fox Film Corp.
