PlusSize.com, a shopping destination for women sizes 12 and higher, will offer corsets, tap pants, bralette sets and other selections from Frederick's of Hollywood within the virtual modeling environment on PlusSize.com, the two companies said yesterday. Shoppers will be able to create online models of themselves to “try on” more than 15 styles of intimate apparel.
PlusSize.com uses technology from My Virtual Model to let shoppers customize a 3-D model after keying in details such as hair style, body type and skin tone. Using this technology, a customer can view any Frederick's of Hollywood lingerie selection on her own virtual model before buying the item.
