PIP Printing franchisees have been offered PrintNation.com’s selection of print and design equipment through a co-built Web site as a result of a recent agreement between the two companies.
The site, PIPNet.com, exclusively offers PIP print service franchisees — through an intranet system — print equipment and supplies that usually are sold at PrintNation.com. PrintNation, a print and design equipment firm based in Irvine, CA, contracts with major manufacturers in the numerous areas that make up this supply chain sector. Some of these companies include A.B.Dick Co., Nikon Corp. and DuPont.
PIP Printing, Agoura Hills, CA, has more than 450 stores in the United States and the United Kingdom. The agreement gives those stores a channel to order supplies without having to build or maintain an infrastructure that allows supplies procurement.
Financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
