Virtual Hold Technologies, Akron, OH, a developer of call center solutions, will incorporate into its software suite speech recognition technology provided by Philips Speech Processing, Dallas.
Virtual Hold’s solutions enable call centers to automatically deliver recorded messages to callers who are on hold. The callers are given the option of remaining on hold or hanging up and receiving a callback at a convenient time.
Using technology developed by Philips, callers will be able to exercise these options by voice.
