Online marketplace Shop.com is expected to announce today that Performics has been certified for product data integration in its data feed provider program, an initiative introduced earlier this year designed to ensure better and more accurate presentations of merchant offerings in Shop.com’s marketplace.
With the program, each of the three data integration feeds has its own Shop.com certification and a DFP can be tested and certified for any or all of a merchant’s feeds.
Once certified by Shop.com, data feed providers are authorized for the marketplace and can send frequent product feeds on behalf of a merchant. They can also introduce any of their merchants to the marketplace.
There are three types of data that can be uploaded: The merchant’s product data, order processing data and order status information.
