PepperCom Adds Eight Clients

PepperCom, New York, has won eight new accounts in the technology and Internet business arenas, gains that are expected to more than double the shop's billings this year to $10 million, from $4.5 million in 1999.

The wins include Tele.com, a high-tech communications magazine for business executives; Nobelstar, styled as an e-business engineer for wireless technologies; Metastream, a 3-D Web visualization technology and consulting services provider; and FerrousExchange, a business-to-business Internet exchange for the steel industry.

Other new clients are ChooseEnergy, an independent online exchange for the energy industry; Edgix, an online provider that allows Internet service providers to scale quickly; Celarix, a logistics and supply-chain software provider; and BigMachines, which offers engineered systems for buying and selling industrial machinery.
