PepperCom, New York, has won eight new accounts in the technology and Internet business arenas, gains that are expected to more than double the shop's billings this year to $10 million, from $4.5 million in 1999.
The wins include Tele.com, a high-tech communications magazine for business executives; Nobelstar, styled as an e-business engineer for wireless technologies; Metastream, a 3-D Web visualization technology and consulting services provider; and FerrousExchange, a business-to-business Internet exchange for the steel industry.
Other new clients are ChooseEnergy, an independent online exchange for the energy industry; Edgix, an online provider that allows Internet service providers to scale quickly; Celarix, a logistics and supply-chain software provider; and BigMachines, which offers engineered systems for buying and selling industrial machinery.
