Mick McCabe has joined DeutschNY as partner/chief strategy officer. He was formerly EVP and director of planning at Chicago-based Leo Burnett.

 

James Beriker has been named president of Efficient Frontier, Mountain View, CA. He was previously an executive at ValueClick. Efficient Frontier has also hired Robin Smith as SVP of account development. She most recently served as VP and director of client services at Avenue A/Razorfish.

 

Jed Hartman has been appointed publisher of The Week magazine, New York. Hartman previously served as sales director at The Fortune/Money Group.

 

David Berkowitz has been named president of New York-based Gould Paper Corp.’s North American Distribution operations. He served as chairman/CEO of Central Lewmar paper, Newark, NJ, for 11 years until its sale in 2005. In addition, Bob Weill has been promoted to president of Gould’s international operations.

 

New York-Based Thomas Equipment has appointed Petter Etholm president/CEO and a member of the board of directors. He succeeds Michael Luther, who will remain with Thomas Equipment as chairman of the board. Etholm was previously a consultant to the Thomas Equipment 2004 subsidiary. He also recently founded Norwegian Wood LLC and Elinex LLC.

 

The Nielsen Company has announced that Greg Farrar, a 20-year Nielsen veteran, has been named president of Nielsen Business Media, New York. He was most recently COO at Nielsen Business Media.

 

Johnhn A. Fellows has been named chairman/CEO of business services provider TMone, Iowa City, IA. Fellows recently served as the president/CEO of Bell Industries Inc., Indianapolis, IN.

 

Antonio Casacuberta has been appointed chief technology officer at Responsys, Redwood City, CA. He previously served as CTO at Infospace.
