Peace Corps deploying SPSS predictive analytics software for volunteer surveys

The Peace Corps is deploying SPSS predictive analytics software to survey volunteer satisfaction.

The announcement was made by Chicago-based SPSS Inc., a provider of predictive analytics software.

Since 1961, Washington-based Peace Corps has shared with the world America’s most precious resource-its people. Peace Corps volunteers serve in 73 countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe and the Middle East.

Collaborating with local community members, volunteers work in areas like education, youth outreach, health, environment, agriculture and business development.

To better prepare and ensure the safety of volunteers, the organization surveys their volunteers twice – once during and once when they complete service.

The results from the surveys are analyzed and utilized throughout the agency in a multitude of ways, with the ultimate goal of improving the volunteer visit.
